We source the coffee we need from the Ana Sora Washing Station, located in the famous coffee-growing region of Guji, which is known for its fantastic coffees. \u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThis coffee is perfect for coffee lovers looking for a unique and unforgettable taste experience and wanting to discover the coffee’s country of origin.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cmeta charset=\"UTF-8\"\u003eAs is customary in Ethiopia, the coffee does not come from a single farm but from cooperatives—in our case, the “Ana Sora Washing Station,” founded by Isreal. It is located in the Guji region, famous for coffee cultivation. For years, some of the country’s finest coffees have been grown here at elevations of up to 2,350 m and across around 250 hectares, in the shade of banana trees and leguminous plants. \u003cbr\u003eThe extreme altitude and long drying times produce particularly sweet coffees with a unique floral flavor profile. The beans are hand-picked and then naturally dried on raised beds in the sun, allowing them to develop their characteristic aroma and floral flavor profile. The coffee has an intense, fruity taste with notes of jasmine tea, blueberry, and a hint of peach. \u003cbr\u003eBecause processing would be far too expensive and labor-intensive for individual smallholders, Isreal founded the “Ana Sora Washing Station” as a cooperative. He not only oversees the construction and operation of the washing station and drying beds but also supports the region through training. At the nearby “Yerba Buleye” school, he teaches the children and the farmers of tomorrow how to grow coffee sustainably and run profitable agricultural operations. \u003cbr\u003eThe washing station also creates many jobs in the region. It is important to him that all workers are certified in coffee cultivation through a training program and officially registered.
